Our exciting tour will begin by heading towards Patetonga, where we'll enjoy a delightful morning tea at Top Notch Macadamias. We'll have the opportunity to taste the freshest macadamias and learn about the harvesting and production process from the friendly hosts, Famke van Laren or Kennedy. Next, we'll head to the artistic heartland, where Sculpted Metals Art Gallery Ltd awaits, curated by the skilled hands of sculptor Nathan Whitehead in the quaint Patetonga. A haven where metals come to life in intricate forms, his creations breathe the spirit of creativity into the serene landscape. As the day unfolds, we'll enjoy a catered lunch at the Corner Stone Café in Mangatarata. Here, the essence of the journey lingers in the air, accompanied by the comfort of good food and hot coffee. After lunch, we'll visit Spikes Bricks and Models in Waihi, where we'll get to explore an impressive collection of Lego models and take part in interactive activities. The charming owner, Stewart 'Spike' Milligan, will give us an insightful tour of his impressive display and show us how he creates his magnificent models. It's a day filled with delicious food, and creative individuals.
