We enjoy a delightful day exploring the Bay of Plenty’s finest attractions. The day begins at SweetPea and Jasmine with morning tea in the studio, where Shontelle will share how she grows her flowers and talk through the varieties. We’ll then tour her beautiful flower farm, home to a range of English blooms not previously available for bouquets in New Zealand. Next, we visit Athenree Homestead, a beautifully restored 1878 heritage home built by pioneers Adela and Hugh Stewart. Surrounded by historic gardens and overlooking Tauranga Harbour, the homestead offers a fascinating glimpse into early settler life and New Zealand’s colonial past. Afterward, indulge in a relaxing lunch in this charming heritage setting. The journey continues to the Kaimai Brewing and Distilling Company in Waikino, where you’ll enjoy a talk and tasting of their award-winning gins, crafted with local botanicals and traditional methods.
