Depart Tauranga and enjoy a morning tea stop along the way before arriving at the breathtaking Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautiri the Secrets of the Tautari Wetland Tour, an expert guide will lead us through a stunning wetland habitat, where we’ll search for well-camouflaged tuatara basking near their burrows, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the sightings. We will also hope to observe the rare, flightless takahē, once thought extinct. After our nature adventure, we will head to Red Kitchen Café in Te Awamutu for lunch in a warm and welcoming setting. Next, we will visit Yoga & Oils, a unique boutique filled with crystals, essential oils, and wellness treasures, where we’ll enjoy an introduction chat and time to explore. The journey home takes us through scenic Cambridge, providing a relaxing drive back before drop-offs.
